Fly rods

TI4 AMBER 9'

Is the Amber a classic beauty or futuristic design? Hard to tell. One thing is certain: it looks amazing.  Deep, translucent orange wraps with black edging for added contrast, paired with zebrawood or matte clear anodised aluminum spacers. A really eye-catching combination.

The Ti4 9' blank:

9’ 4 weight rods are not easy to design. It is hard to find a balance between sensitivity and having enough backbone. The P4 9’ has been one of the most praised models by customers and it is a great rod. But developing the Ti5 9’ showed us that we can implement the Ti technology in 9’ blanks too, so we had to make a new 9’ 4 weight .

The Ti4 9’ is not just lighter, but it is even more smooth and sensitive than the P4 and has a wider optimal casting range. Short casts are precise, delicate presentations are easy to perform. But if you have to cast far, the rod won’t fold and has the stiffness at the lower parts to help you control a lot of line in the air. As most Stickmans the rod is intuitive and easy to cast. It works best with true to weight lines but half weight heavy lines are not a problem either. If you are looking for a very versatile trout rod on the light side, the Ti4 can be the best match available.

All our rods are hand built to order one at a time and are customizable. Please make an inquiry on current lead times before placing your order.

“I have fished a couple of days with the Ti4 and I'm truly amazed. Casting this rod is an absolute pleasure. By far, the most enjoyable rod I have ever casted. It is so light that you feel it like an extension of your arm. Loading the line, and the feeling it provides, is superb both with almost no line outside the rod or with several meters flying. And it is surprising how little effort it requires from the very beginning. I'm an average caster but I have had no problem casting precisely a few meters or 20-25 m away with almost no learning curve.

I coupled the rod with one of the new Hardy reels one day and with the Danielsson Original Dry Fly the other day. Both worked nicely and balanced well the rod, although I rather like the sound (or better said, the lack of sound) of the Danielsson.

The rod is not only a delight to cast, it also fishes! Both days I got several nice trouts, although by this time of the fishing season the Tormes trouts have learned so much that it is not easy to fool them.

Thank you for crafting such wonderful rods, thank you for a wonderful service and thank you for being so kind.”

“I had the rod out this morning. It is a dream to cast and an absolute pleasure to fish! I was using an SA Mastery Trout Standard line and it seemed to pair really well with this rod. I have never fished a rod so crisp and precise, and yet so intuitive to cast. I would certainly agree that you have something special with this one. “

“I went fishing on the Sure in Luxemburg for trout. I’m very excited about the rod. It casts truly without effort, and is very sensitive with enough power in the lower part. I had a smile on my face whole day long. The Ti4 and T6 will be my main rods when i go to Sweden in September. You did a great job.”
